Hi! I am Sam, a mental health intern and advocate who uses a trauma-informed and person-centered approach. I also draw on psychodynamic theory to understand the deeper roots of behavior and emotion. I am passionate about supporting children and teenagers by creating a safe, collaborative space where young people feel heard, valued, and empowered to build resilience. My background blends psychology and theology, shaping a holistic perspective that integrates clinical practice with awareness of social, cultural, and spiritual factors in wellbeing. I am currently pursuing a PsyD in Clinical Psychology. My goal is to continue to expand expertise in adolescent development, suicide prevention, and community-based interventions. I believe in creating spaces where we can feel seen, valued, and understood. Each step in our journey matters, and I count it a privilege to walk alongside my clients. After all, even the smallest spark of hope can light the way forward.
