A 6-Week Healing and Skill-Building Space for Black Men.
Join a dedicated space designed for Black men to prioritize their mental and emotional well-being. This therapeutic group offers a confidential environment to explore shared experiences, navigate systemic challenges, and deepen your understanding of how trauma and stress impact both the mind and body.

Time: 1st Thursdays of the month from 10AM to 12PM (February 5th, March 5th, April 2nd, May 7th, June 4th, July 2nd, August 6th)
Location: You are able to join join virtually via a shared link OR meet in-person at the Annex at Third Space - 1117 SE Morrison St, Portland, OR 97214 (limited transportation vouchers available upon request). This is a sensory-friendly space that is a low-stimulation environment, focused on de-centering hustle/grind culture, and we will be responsive to the needs of neurodivergent and/or disabled folks.
Food/Drink: small snacks, coffee/drinks, & wellness goodies provided
Age: 14+
Overview: a monthly, low-barrier, community co-working space for BIPOC folks to work on projects of all kinds (examples: crafting, reading, "work" of any kind, doing chores at home, etc.) in a laid back "community cafe vibe" setting. Feel free to use the space however you choose to! For folks who like some *optional* structure: we will have a check-in at the beginning of our time together with a short mindfulness or somatic offering, chance to connect with accountability buddies, and a closing open resource share.

Black Wellness Sunday by Sankofa Counseling and Black Pearl Wellness

Overview:
Let's gather to community to Rest & Restore our wellness. A Black History Month offering for our Black folks by Black practitioners.
Join us on Feb. 18th for Black Wellness Sunday, a time to be in community during Black History Month to Rest & Restore ourselves.
We offer this event exclusively to Black folks who want to gather and experience restorative healing practices. Register for "General Admission" and you'll have access to Ear Accupressure, a station to make soothing bath salts, enjoy a delicious immuno-boosting tea, and journaling-quiet reflection area. You can sign up for a 40 minute Guided Rest Circle, led by mental health practitioners and access to all other activities.
