Insurance & Fee Information

All major insurance plans cover mental health services. If Sankofa counseling is covered by your insurance plan, we will bill them directly; at the time of your appointment, you will only be responsible for the copay/co-insurance or deductible specific to your plan. If you are unsure what coverage you have, you can contact your insurance directly and they will review this information with you. We are happy to assist you in this process if needed. 

We offer sliding scale rates for those paying out of pocket. For those using insurance, we are in network can accept the following insurance plans: 

• Moda (Beacon, Community Care, Connexus & Synergy networks)

• Blue Cross Blue Shield

• MHN

• Cigna

• Aetna

• Pacific Source

Counseling Rates

Initial appointments include assessment and treatment planning and are billed at $200
Individual counseling sessions are generally 45-50 minutes in length and are billed at $125
Family/parenting sessions are generally 50-55 minutes in length and are billed at $145
Sessions that run 60 minutes or longer are billed at $185

*These rates are determined by current insurance rates for behavioral/mental health care in the state of Oregon. If you are paying out of pocket for services, there are sliding scale rates available.

Clinical Consultation and Clinical Supervision

Individual & Group Supervision is available based upon current capacity

Clinical consultation rates range from $100-$185/hour
